Engineer for scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and repairs.Are you looking to work within a great, Kent based, company to enhance your engineering skils and work alongside supportive colleagues?  This could be the opportunity you have been searching for if you have the right engineering background!You are expected to have previous similar experience as a Maintenance Engineer Reporting to the Senior Maintenance EngineerCarry out regular scheduled check on all manufacturing equipment and production linesEnsure site is compliant with legal health, safety and fire requirementsLiaise with external suppliers to obtain assistance or call out requestsIdentify and offer training for operators to ensure machinery is kept to optimum standardsHold regular meetings with the team and keep documentation of all actions and be the point of contact for staff members who may require assistanceMonitor expenditure on parts and other equipmentMaintain sufficient levels of spare parts and other necessary materials for preventative and emergency engineering repairsKeep the workshop to the correct standardEnsure chemicals, liquids and other materials are stored safelyThe successful person will have a proactive approach to the role, be innovative and be able to identify suitable solutions to the team.  A creative person with very good written and verbal communications and a reasonable level of IT skills.  Effective delegation skills and the ability to forge good relationships with key personnel and their teams.If this sounds like you, call or email straight away.........
